The best thing about being a quilt designer is that I get to work from home, surrounded by my four very cool cats and my husband. The worst thing is that I am covered in the cat hair from those four cool cats!

After years of drawing, painting and clothing design I was bitten by the quilting bug and I am hooked! I started teaching quilting classes about 13 years ago and I still teach; I love interacting with creative people.

After years of designing my own quilts, bags and wall-hangings I wrote my first pattern in 2009. I have many, many designs rolling around in my head and they will all make it to paper at some point! I take pride in the fact that my patterns are written with simple instructions and lots of colour illustrations, as after years of teaching, I think most people are visual learners.
